Award-Winning Actor, Singer, Composer

Andrea J. Love is an NYC-based AEA actor, singer, composer/lyricist, teacher, and writer. She is currently in the musical book-writing workshop of the acclaimed BMI Lehman Engle Musical Theatre Writers Workshop in New York City and graduated last spring from their two-year songwriting workshop.

Actor

Andrea is a professional actor and member of Actor’s Equity Association.

She has worked at regional theatres including the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle and the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Andrea is a company member and writer/composer for Bike City Theatre Company in Davis, CA.

Singer

With a BA in Vocal Music Performance and four months studying opera in Milan, Andrea excels in a variety of genres including musical theatre, opera, jazz, choral, folk, and early classical music.

She was recently a featured vocalist at the historic El Campanil Theatre’s 90th Anniversary Gala, and was a featured vocalist in a New Years Eve Celebration at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek last December, organized by Esses Productions.

Writer & Composer

Andrea enjoys writing and composing, and has won multiple awards for both.

In August, she and her co-writer Akaina Ghosh were named semi-finalists in the National Alliance for Musical Theatre 15-Minute Musical Contest, held specifically to celebrate works started during quarantine. A snippet of their work on Lilith can be found here.

Her Game of Thrones/West Side Story parody musical co-written with Johnny Quesada, entitled Westeros Side Story was produced in a staged reading in 2019 with Bike City Theatre Company to great acclaim, and is in development for further productions.
